Interview with Issa Dicko – Part 1 (French)

Issa Dicko is a Touareg intellectual, co-founder of the festival in the desert, and cultural promoter of the Taghreft Tinariwen association. In this first part, he exposed his views on the political issues in the Sahara desert, and most notably in the region of Kidal, northern Mali. Originally broadcast on Amandla, an African current affairs programme on CKUT radio in Montreal.
